Reconstructed Vintage Jewelry
If you are intrigued with how vintage watches run, the movement of cogs and wheels working in unison to keep accurate time, then you will enjoy my jewelry. Quoting from Oregon Coast Magazine, "...the details of the cogs and wheels are mesmerizing." Imagine the stories these watches can tell!
My husband Charles and I retired to Oregon and find this beautiful coastal area an inspiration to us both. I was an AVP and Assn't. Manager in a Northern California Bank. The freedom of retirement has opened up many artistic adventures to us. The antique and vintage ladies time pieces that I work with are from the early 1900's . I craft them individually into brooches, pendants, bracelets and earrings, creating unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry. Some watches have lovely engraving, not only on the case, but on the faces and inside plates. I try to reveal the beauty and craftsmanship of these watchmakers of the past. Often, I will add bits of whimsy or jewels to the designs.
