260325 - Like traditional origami, it begins with a grid---but the textures and patterns emerge through a simple technique of hand stitching.  The results are reminiscent of landforms, wave ripples, or basketry.  They appear intricate and magical, yet the process is both simple and deeply satisfying.

260328 - Learn various drawing & painting techniques with differrent medias to make your own 12-Square Sampler. We will experiment with a variety of drawing & painting materials including: Oil Pastels, Neo WC Pastels, WC Pencils, Acrylic Markers, WC & Acrylic Paint. They will be combined with various textures on a variety of surfaces including: WC Paper, Colored Mi-Tientes Paper, Mat Boards, Cradled Birch Panels, etc.  On the second day, we will create a small painting using your favorite tecniques.  All Skill levels welcome.  Come experiment and play with us!

 <>  If you are interested in teaching a class or renting the Back Door Studio, contact the gallery today.

<>  It is very important to include your Phone Number at checkout.  It may be necessary for the gallery to contact you if there's a change in the class schedule.

<>  CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
  • If a student withdraws from a class more than 1 week before the class begins, a refund, less a processing fee equal to 20% of the class cost, will be paid.
  • NO REFUND will be paid if the student withdraws 1 week or less before the class begins.
  • In the event that Currents Gallery cancels a class, the Gallery will mail a full refund to the student.
