Oil & Cold Wax Paintings
I am inspired by the peace and tranquility of the surrounding forests, valleys, and ocean beaches of the beautiful Oregon Coast. I love the luminosity of color and depth of texture that emerges from the many layers built into my oil and cold wax paintings. I am a native Oregonian, raised in Portland and educated at Linfield College, and the Pacific Northwest College of Arts. I teach fine art workshops all over the Pacific Northwest, and at Currents Gallery Back Door Studio in McMinnville. I work at my Neskowin Studio, Winterdragons, on the Oregon Coast, where I paint using the ancient medium of oil and cold wax, now making a resurgence.
