Acrylic and Watercolor Paintings
The higher the elevation, the more exciting the river flows. This perspective inspires me to study and capture the moment, then paint its essence. I enjoy strong rocky compositions combined with soft, swirly watery shapes.
I have been making art for over 30 years. I have been the Convention Director of the Watercolor Society of Oregon and am a member of the Lake Area Artists, participating in the very popular yearly Exhibition & Sale in Lake Oswego. I have signature membership, in the Northwest Watercolor Society, exhibit frequently, and have been awarded in the Watercolor Society of Oregon. One of my paintings was featured in the international SPLASH magazine, focusing on ‘Mood”. Currently I work with acrylics on canvas and have perfected the technique for transparency, typical in watery scenes.
