Another, smaller abstract interpretation of Oregon poet Mark Thalman’s Skyline Trail, this work reflects on impermanence, memory, and the quiet persistence of the natural world. The painting evokes a landscape in continual transformation, where movement and disappearance coexist, and the traces of a journey are gradually absorbed back into the land.
